Progressive nerve damage prior to visual field loss in a young patient with TBK1 glaucoma

UIHC Glaucoma faculty Drs. Nathan Sears, Wallace Alward, and John Fingert along with Pediatrics Professor, Dr. Ben Darbro published a case report of a young patient with glaucoma caused by a TBK1 gene duplication. Twenty year follow up showed worsening of optic nerve damage (cupping) at an early age before peripheral vision loss. Read more about it here.
